Painter, engraver and sculptor. He started to study architecture but he leaved it to focus on painting. He studied in England where he create the group Geometric Abstraction with two more artists. Kandinsky Prize in 1952. Gold Medal in FIne Arts in 1982. National Fine Arts Award in 1999. Velázquez Prize in 3004.
His artwork is based on a linear abstraction that began with post impressionist experiences in the pass to XX century, and reached the purest minimalism in the 60´s. Palazuelo describe art as a way to solve human being problems. He has made plenty of individual and collective exhibitions, nationally and internationally. His artwork is now distributed around several museums, collections and art galleries.
