Painter and engraver. He studied at Llotja school, Fine art school in Barcelona and in Sant Jordi Fine Art School. He also studied engraving and lithography in Paris. Art National Award in 1981. `Cruz de San Jordi´ by Cataluña Generalitat in 1985. National Graphic Art award in 2004.
 
In his first exhibitions he shows an expressionist style, with existential features. He was one of the founders of Silex Group, together with Carles Planell, Eduard Alcoy i Lázaro, y Josep Maria Rovira i Requesón. After finishing his studies in Paris he developed a geometric figuration, where lonely items stand out from grey and green backgrounds. He includes mathematical items like grids that propose a magical atmosphere.
