JaƩn 1958

Javier de Juan is one of the main representatives of the New Spanish Figuration, belonging to the generation of cartoonists from the late 70's and early 80's. His works and compositions show the daily life of the city, with cinematographic features within a narrative centred on personal relationships and everything that they entail. His pieces radiate an immediacy achieved by the predominance of drawing and the use of thick lines, reminiscent of street graffiti. Throughout his artistic career, he has made countless individual and collective exhibitions, both nationally and internationally.
