Rafael Mundi

Cáceres 1948

The artist Rafael Mundi was born in Cáceres although he developed a large part of his artistic career in the United Kingdom, to where he moved during his youth. He studied Fine Arts at the City & Guilds of London Art School. His first exhibitions were organised in London, in several groups of young painters, in the Guild Hall, Camden Arts Center and the New Gallery. In 1984, after several trips around Europe, he returned to Spain to settle permanently in Madrid. At that time, he devotes a large part of his activity to teaching, leaving less time for painting, although without abandoning it at any time.
